John came highly recommended and exceeded our expectations in all areas. He did an amazing job and sold our mothers home for a fantastic price in a so-called difficult market. You have not seen the last of us!

….and so the search began to find a real estate agent to sell my parents’ home.  Dad had suffered a stroke, impacting his mobility making a home with stairs unsuitable and Mum with health issues of her own didn’t want to move.  So we were looking for someone extraordinary who would be kind given the situation and profession to get the job done!

My husband suggested John Vujnovich from Harveys Real Estate, so I sat down and read what other people had to say about this guy.  The testimonials were glowing and I thought no real estate agent I’ve met is that good. 

That was the beginning and now this is the end and I have to agree with that I first read about John.  He handled our situation with kindness, patience and charm.  He thinks outside the box, adapts rapidly to change and perseveres.  Throughout the process John maintained a standard of effective communication via emails, text and phone calls as required.  We always knew what was happening and never felt out of the loop. 

We have recommended John to family and friends who are wanting to sell their home.  I’ve met some great real estate agents but John tops the lot.

I am writing this letter to extend our gratitude for the great experience we had when listing our property with Harveys, more specifically – John Vujnovich.  We had previously only ever bought and sold properties privately so we were a bit sceptical of going with an agent but John out forward a good case as to why his ‘Set Date of Sale’ strategy could achieve a fare better result with far less hassle.

John obviously has a talent when it comes to negotiation but we were particularly impressed with his pro-active and professional attitude towards us.  John got things moving quickly but was happy to accommodate feedback so we continued to feel like we were in control minus the stress.

To top it all off John spent settlement day running a few unexpected errands for us to keep both parties happy.  Above and beyond the call of duty and much appreciated!

Unfortunately we are moving on from the Peninsula but we will be sharing our experience of Harveys and John to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area.

As you know we interviewed four agents to find what we thought would be the best person to get our home sold by Christmas.  One agent even laughed at the ambitious time frame…that took it to three to choose from.  Your marketing strategy stood out from the others, everyone else recommended suction.  But your logic made sense to us i.e. not limiting the buying pool, people giving their best price etc.  It was icing on the cake that you donate to Matipo School.  I think it’s a lovely idea and I know Matipo really appreciate the support.

You made selling a house seem easy and painless.  Your efficiency and care of the property during open homes were appreciated.  You were always available on the other end of the phone, we were never left wondering what was happening.  Thanks for the recommendations for staging.  I’m sure Anthea’s eye for style helped us along too.

When we decided to sell our house on the peninsula, we were recommended John by the son of a friend of ours and we were very impressed with the dedication he showed in selling our house. We put it on the market in the middle of August and it sold at the end of October.
