I grew up in West Auckland, attended Rutherford High School and studied accounting at Auckland University before falling into the exciting world of IT which was in its infancy in the late 1980’s – early 1990’s.

I remained in IT for essentially 20 years, travelling the world and working primarily between NZ and the UK for big companies such as British Gas, British Telecom and EDS & HP here in NZ.

In 2009 I’d had enough of the corporate IT world and decided to become a real estate salesperson, sat my papers and started selling in the greater Ponsonby area. For the next 10 years I sold mainly Villas, Bungalows and Unit Titles throughout Westmere, Grey Lynn, Ponsonby and Herne Bay. I spent around seven years selling for Unlimited Potential (UP) and a couple of shorter stints at both Ray White Ponsonby and Barfoot & Thompson, Ponsonby. It was a demanding area to work in with high value homes and many successful business people and NZ personalities as both my vendors and buyers . It was also great schooling for me when I decided to become a manager.

In late 2018 I completed my full Agent’s Licence and started managing a small Harcourts office in Newmarket of around 15 agents. Towards the end of 2018 I moved back out West to manage both the Henderson and Ranui offices as part of the Harcourts Blue Fern Realty group. I had around 25-30 agents to manage at any one time, which was both demanding and satisfying and furthermore strengthened my real estate management skills.

Early in 2020 I obtained my full AREINZ certification.

In my spare time I play the guitar in an acoustic duo, and I’m an active sportsman playing (slightly competitive) cricket, golf, squash and tennis in West Auckland.
